Residencies at Elf run from 1 week up to 3 months. You can apply to experiment, produce a body of work, use specific equipment, or expand on an idea.

Mediums that are currently open are book arts, drawing, jewelry, mixed media, music, painting, photography, printmaking, textiles, and weaving. Coming in Summer 2026 we'll also have casting, lapidary, woodworking, welding/blacksmithing, and paper!

A private bedroom and studio are provided during your stay. The residencies are free, however consumables, materials, food, and travel are not included.

​Sixty artists have been accepted into Elf's first three rounds of residency! Elf will host 3 artists at a time for the beginning of 2026 and 4 during the summer of 2026. 

 

Applications are closed for January-March 2026 residencies. Applications for July-September 2026 residencies will be open March 1-31.
